Handshake houses custom career education content and provides users with access to employer hosted events, opportunities to connect one on one with a Lehigh career coach through appointments, as well as registration for in person and virtual career workshops, employer recruiting events and Career Expos. Beyond these features, Handshake is a recruiting platform for Lehigh students to explore, apply to and gain job, internship and experiential learning opportunities to launch their careers.
Handshake is available to students who are registered for classes in the current term and enrolled in a degree program at Lehigh University. Incoming students must be registered for Fall or Spring classes to gain access to Handshake. Upon registration for Fall or Spring coursework, new students will gain Handshake access via automated updates the next business day. Handshake is not available for students taking classes at Lehigh through non degree seeking programming or outside a term of active registration.
