Faculty and Staff partners

As a faculty and staff member, students may come to you with career-related questions. You can make an enormous impact by encouraging undergraduate and graduate students to start exploring careers early and to take advantage of the career resources available to them. We want to ensure you have the information to support questions related to choosing majors, finding internships, networking with alumni and applying to jobs and graduate school.  Below are various ways you can support students:

1. Guide them to the career center by making a referral.

2. Develop a basic understanding of the career resources and platforms that support student success. Review the National Association of Colleges and Employers Career Readiness Competencies designed to ensure successful entrance into the workforce.

3. Learn and stay informed about recruiting at Lehigh.

4. Read the Faculty Guide to Ethical and Legal Standards in Student Employment published by The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

5. Learn about ways to partner with CCPD as a Career Connector.
