Welcome to Lehigh University's Web page for Pre-Professional Counseling for the Health Professions. Many factors impact students' decisions to pursue graduate-level work in health-related disciplines. We at Lehigh aim to empower students to make thoughtful choices about their future in the health professions and to work productively to achieve their goals. Pre-health students should contact the Center for Career & Professional Development (careercenter@lehigh.edu; 610-758-3710)  to be enrolled in the Pre-Health Advising Course Site, which provides up-to-date information about being pre-health at Lehigh. Students, at any point throughout their Lehigh career, are encouraged to meet with the pre-health advisor to explore their interests and aspirations and to formulate plans.

Juniors, seniors, and early alums who are planning on applying to medical or dental (or optometry or podiatry) school for matriculation in the next application cycle: Please contact the pre-health advisor to enter the process to obtain a Lehigh Committee Letter (an institutional letter of support required by most medical and dental schools). E-mail careercenter@lehigh.edu (or phone 610-758-3710) to ask to be enrolled in the Health Professions Advisory Committee Course Site. The committee process (opens Nov. 1) will be managed through this course site.
