Information Sessions

Employers may request an information session from a Handshake account.  Please see Account Setup Instructions HERE.  These requests are then forwarded to the appropriate department for scheduling - either the University Center or Conference Services.

When scheduling an event in the University Center (#29 on the Asa Packer Campus map) you will be asked to provide the following information:

  • your company name
  • contact phone number
  • the proposed date for the information sessionan
  • estimate of the number of people expected to attend
  • your audio-visual requests
  • if additional tables are needed for handouts (or food)
  • To order (or cancel) catering, call Dining Services at 610-758-4512

Parking:   the most convenient parking to the University Center is in the Alumni Memorial Building Parking Garage (#27 on the map).  Metered parking is available for your use in this garage on the lower level. (Additional detailed parking information will be found in the confirmation email you will receive from the U.C. when booking the information session.)

When scheduling an event with Conference Services (for a location anywhere else on campus), you will be asked to provide the following information::

  • your event date and time
  • contact name
  • company name
  • U.S. mailing address for billing purposes
  • phone number
  • please indicate if you will be requesting catering for your session
  • To order (or cancel) catering, call Dining Services at 610-758-4512
 
Advertising your information session

After your reservation has been confirmed, your event will be advertised both on Handshake, as an information session, as well as on the front page of our Career Center website.
